CLB - 7 French Intermediate / Advanced Program

Our CLB-7 course is a eight-month program designed for learners aiming to achieve strong, confident French for both professional and personal contexts. It aligns with a B2 level on the CEFR scale, which represents upper-intermediate fluency — the ability to communicate clearly, understand complex texts, and participate in extended conversations.

This course emphasizes precision in speaking and writing, active listening, reading comprehension, and real-world communication scenarios. Whether you're preparing for an official language assessment, building bilingual skills for your career, or pursuing further studies, CLB-7 offers structured support and measurable progress.

Each cohort is limited in size to a limited number of students to ensure individual attention and consistent feedback throughout the program.

Our French proficiency for curriculum CLB - 7

Month 1 -2
A1 - A2

Focus on foundational grammar, sentence construction, and functional vocabulary for everyday situations. Students begin engaging with short texts and audio clips, practicing comprehension and controlled writing. Early exposure to TEF/TCF task formats builds familiarity with the exam structure and expectations.

Month 2 -6
B1-B2

Development of intermediate speaking and writing skills, with emphasis on clarity, expression, and structure. Classwork will include argumentation, role-play, and vocabulary expansion. TEF/TCF exams will  become more rigorous, with specific focus on practice in managing timing and formatting across all sections.

Month 7-8
Exam Prep

At this stage we focus on fluency, nuance, and strategic exam performance. Students will engage with complex texts, abstract topics, and multi-step reasoning in both written and spoken formats. Mock TEF/TCF exams are used to refine technique and pacing. Final prep before graduation to enable you to succeed in your future with French.

What you can expect to learn from this program

Grammar

Learn the building blocks of French grammar, including basic verb forms, sentence structure, and common patterns. Emphasis is on everyday usage and developing confidence with simple constructions.

Reading

Build your ability to understand short texts, signs, instructions, and basic written communication. Learn how to recognize key ideas, common vocabulary, and sentence flow in beginner-level materials.

Writing

Practice writing clear, simple French sentences. You'll work on introductions, everyday messages, short descriptions, and learn how to avoid common beginner errors.

Listening

Train your ear to recognize familiar words and expressions in slow, clear French. Focused on real-life conversations and simple instructions you might hear at work, in class, or in daily life.

Speaking

Start speaking with structure and clarity in basic conversations. Practice greetings, questions, common responses, and short dialogues that prepare you for daily interactions.

Pronunciation

Get comfortable with French sounds and rhythm. We'll help you recognize and practice key sounds that make you easier to understand, even if you're just getting started.
